Fitness

It’s amazing how time seems to slip away from us as we get older. After getting hurt at OCS, having surgery and residual pain, I stopped running. I didn’t just stop running though. I stopped exercising all together. Needless to say that didn’t help the PTSD and depression that I’ve been battling for the last 5 years or so.

So, now, I’ve resolved to return to my previous fitness. I’m trying to not let my ego control me either. My ultimate goal, is to get back to triathlon shape. For now, it’s to run 2 miles a day, 3 times a week. Just getting my butt out of the house is going to be a challenge.
